Overview

The DuPont™ Tyvek® 600 Plus Hooded Coveralls are lightweight, single use garments widely viewed to be an industry standard. Made by DuPont™, the Tyvek® 600 provides a superb balance of protection, durability and comfort.

Tyvek® 600 overalls are made from flash spun, high density polyethylene with ultra-low-linting. Both sides of the garment are anti-statically treated and they are permeable to both air and water vapours. This makes them effective at repelling water based liquids and aerosols. They also give excellent protection against a wide range of environmental hazards. This includes dust, fine particles and fibres down to 1 micron in size.

Tyvek® 600 coverings are ideal for use in a number of roles including maintenance work and dismantling jobs in the nuclear industry. They also have applications in medical care, research, pharmaceutical manufacturing, biosecurity labs and can help prevent exposure to biological hazards. Tyvek® limited life products are currently being used around the world in health care centres during the COVID-19 pandemic.

All Tyvek® 600 Plus hooded overalls have self adhesive chin flaps to create a tight seal between the suit and the mask. In addition, a Tyvek® zipper and self adhesive zipper flap provides extra protection. The wrist, ankle and face opening are elasticated and the suit has glued in waist elastic for a secure fit. Each Tyvek® coverall weighs less than 250 grams per garment, making them light, easy to wear and comfortable in use.
