The 3M 2138 P3 Particulate Filters can be used with all 3M half masks and full face respirators with a bayonet-style connection. The filters are lightweight with low breathing resistance and are also flexible enough to fit under welding shields. Part of the 2000 Series of filters, these 3M 2138 P3 R particulate filters are easy use. Simply click the filters into place with the twist-and-click bayonet connection.
These are P3 filters and are therefore provide the highest levels of protection against airborne particulates. For example, they offer respiratory protection against fine dusts, oil and water-based mists. They also provide relief from nuisance levels of organic vapours, acid gas and ozone.
- P3 - protects against harmful or carcinogenic dusts, water and oil based mists or aerosols and biological agents of risk groups 2 and 3 in concentrations of up to 20 x WEL.
- R - reusable. The filter can be used for longer than one shift and fulfils the 120 mg loading test with solids and liquid aerosols.
